Méandre

“Meandre” is a project that was inspired by a building of a 22 floors, located in Piraeus, Athens. Its construction started in the 70s without ever being finished and since then has remained without any use.

Starting from the idea of an abandoned building in an urban area, I create a model that represents the tower in full transformation of its facades by the emersion of colored cubes in volume.

The structure that i propose  is not intended for a real project: the operation is rather reverse. “Meandre” is somewhere between dream and reality. Before even taking the form of a building, it is first of all an imaginary site. I am thus interested in the poetic dimensions between the art and the city, inviting the viewer to feel part of this urban utopia.
